Meet our Directors
Director of Bands
Trevor Ousey is the Director of Bands at Killian Middle School in Lewisville, Texas. He is a graduate of Indiana University and the Jacobs School of Music where he received a bachelor’s in music education with instrumental emphasis and a double minor in Business and Conducting.
Prior to his arrival at Killian Middle School in 2021, Mr. Ousey taught at Cain Middle School in Rockwall ISD were he also served as the Fine Arts Department Chair. Bands under his direction received multiple UIL sweepstakes awards. The Honors Band was named a Commended Winner in the 2020 and 2021 National Windband Honors contest. Additionally, the Cain Band placed 50 students in the TMEA All-Region Honor Band
Mr. Ousey began his teaching career in 2012 in south Texas, first as the director of bands at Morales Junior High School in Uvalde, Texas, and then as the assistant band director at Devine High School in Devine, Texas.
Beyond teaching, Mr. Ousey is also an active performer on the local and national stage. He has performed with the Plano Community Band, the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and also served as a clarinet section member and an executive board member of the Heart of Texas Concert Band in San Antonio.
Mr. Ousey also continues to be an active volunteer and site staff member with Music for All and Bands of America, assisting in logistics and event flow for several marching band regionals, grand national championships, and national concert band festivals. In addition to local and state conventions, his other professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Education, the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, the National Band Association, and the International Clarinet Association. He was also nominated for the 2018 Life Changer of the Year award sponsored by the National Life Group and is a Conn-Selmer VIP.
Mr. Ousey lives in Dallas with his girlfriend, Loren, his Australian shepherd, Archer, and two cats, Thomas and Ellie.
Assistant Director of Bands
Jenna Lenhard serves as Assistant Director of Bands for Killian Middle School. Her responsibilities include teaching beginning brass classes and conducting both the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. Ms. Lenhard joined the Killian Band program in 2021.
Ms. Lenhard graduated cum laude from Baylor University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at Baylor, Ms. Lenhard studied French Horn with Professors Jeffery Powers and Paul Capehart. She performed with the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra in their appearances at the 2020 TMEA convention and the Symphonic Band at the 2018 CBDNA Southwestern Conference. Ms. Lenhard was also a member of the Courtside Players and served on the leadership team for the Golden Wave Band.
Most recently, Ms. Lenhard completed her student teaching in Prosper ISD at both the middle school and high school levels under the mentorship of Brandon Holt. She continued to serve on the Prosper High School Band staff as a marching tech specializing in teaching dance technique for marching band students.
Ms. Lenhard is a native of McKinney, having graduated from McKinney High School. Her professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Young Band Directors of Texas. In her free time, Ms. Lenhard enjoys watching movies, doing puzzles, and spending quality time with friends!
Hebron Cluster Percussion Director
Zach Houston is in his 5th year of teaching, and 2nd year as Director of Percussion at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. Mr. Houston also teaches at Arbor Creek Middle School, Creek Valley Middle School, and Killian Middle School. Prior to teaching Mr. Houston graduated from Poteet High School. He then went on to graduate with his Bachelor’s Degree is Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Once receiving his degrees at TTU he went on to be the Percussion director for North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.
In his first year at Hebron the ensembles Mr. Houston has worked with have been consistent UIL Sweepstakes winners., the While at Hebron, Mr. Houston has seen the Hebron Marching Band earn a silver medal at the BOA San Antonio regional in 2017, and the BOA Grand Nationals 4a Class Champion and overall Bronze Medalist.
Mr. Houston is has also taught percussionist from all over the state at the Texas Tech University Band and Orchestra Camp for the last 8 years. His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association and Percussive Arts Society.
Meet our Hebron High School Band Staff
HHS Director of Bands
Andy Sealy is in his fourteenth year as Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. The Hebron High School Band is a consistent Texas UIL “Sweepstakes” Winner, Bands of America Regional/Super Regional Finalist and Class Champion, and “Best in Class” Winner.
HHS Assistant Director of Bands
Travis Pruitt is in his sixth year serving as the Associate Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. His duties include, conducting the Hebron Symphonic Band, assisting with the Wind Symphony and Concert Bands, team teaching the Hebron Marching Band, teaching low brass classes, and assisting with the cluster middle schools. Since 2016, bands under his direction have been consistent UIL Sweepstakes winners.
HHS Color Guard Director
Mr. Sullivan is entering his fourteenth year as a color guard director and designer. This will be his second year serving as the Color Guard Director at Hebron High School. He is a native of Gainesville, FL.
