Meet our Directors
Trevor Ousey
Director of Bands
Trevor Ousey is the Director of Bands at Killian Middle School in Lewisville, Texas. Before he arrived at Killian in 2021, Mr. Ousey taught at Cain Middle School in Rockwall ISD, where he also served as Fine Arts Department Chair. A graduate of Indiana University, Mr. Ousey has a Bachelor’s Degree in music education from the Jacobs School of Music with instrumental emphasis and a double minor in Business and Conducting.
Bands under Mr. Ousey have received multiple UIL Sweepstakes and Best in Class awards. In 2022, the Killian Honors Band was named a National Winner in the Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors contest. In 2020 and 2021, the Cain Honors Band was named a Commended Winner in the same competition. Bands under his direction consistently place more than 40 students in the TMEA All-Region band.
Beyond teaching, Mr. Ousey is also an active clarinet player. He has performed with the McKinney and Plano Community Bands, the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and served on the executive board of the Heart of Texas Concert Band in San Antonio.
Mr. Ousey is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, the National Band Association, and the Young Band Directors of Texas. He was also nominated for the 2018 Life Changer of the Year award sponsored by the National Life Group and is a Conn-Selmer VIP.
Mr. Ousey lives in McKinney with his girlfriend Loren, his Australian shepherd Archer, and his two cats, Thomas and Ellie.

Jenna Lenhard
Assistant Director of Bands
Jenna Lenhard serves as Assistant Director of Bands for Killian Middle School. Ms. Lenhard joined the Killian Band program in 2021.
Ms. Lenhard graduated cum laude from Baylor University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at Baylor, Ms. Lenhard studied French Horn with Professors Jeffery Powers and Paul Capehart. She performed with the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra in their appearances at the 2020 TMEA convention and the Symphonic Band at the 2018 CBDNA Southwestern Conference. Ms. Lenhard was also a member of the Courtside Players and served on the leadership team for the Golden Wave Band.
Most recently, Ms. Lenhard completed her student teaching in Prosper ISD at both the middle school and high school levels under the mentorship of Brandon Holt. She continued to serve on the Prosper High School Band staff as a marching tech specializing in teaching dance technique for marching band students.
Ms. Lenhard is a native of McKinney, having graduated from McKinney High School. Her professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Young Band Directors of Texas. In her free time, Ms. Lenhard enjoys watching movies, doing puzzles, and spending quality time with friends!

Ben Koch
Hebron Cluster Percussion Director
Ben Koch joined the team in 2022 as Director of Percussion at Hebron High School and its cluster Middle Schools in Carrollton, TX. In this role, he oversees all percussion activities in grades 6-12. Before this position, he served as the Percussion Director for the Weiss High School cluster in Pflugerville, TX, and as Assistant Percussion Director for the Hebron cluster.
Mr. Koch holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of North Texas. As a student, he participated in many of the University’s flagship ensembles and taught the Green Brigade Marching Band drumline. While at UNT, he worked with various percussion programs in the DFW metroplex including Marcus High School and Prosper High School.
Mr. Koch has been involved in the Drum Corps International activity for several years. He marched with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps (2015-2016) and Santa Clara Vanguard (2017-2019), contributing to three consecutive Fred Sanford Awards for Best Percussion Performance, Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal, and served as section leader for his age-out year. Since aging out, he has worked with Music City Drum and Bugle Corps (2020-present) as a battery tech.
His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association and the Percussive Arts Society.

Andy Sealy
HHS Director of Bands
Andy Sealy is the Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. The Hebron High School Band is a consistent Texas UIL “Sweepstakes” Winner, Bands of America Regional/Super Regional Finalist and Class Champion, and “Best in Class” Winner.

Travis Pruitt
HHS Assistant Director of Bands
Travis Pruitt is the Associate Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. His duties include, conducting the Hebron Symphonic Band, assisting with the Wind Symphony and Concert Bands, team teaching the Hebron Marching Band, teaching low brass classes, and assisting with the cluster middle schools. Since 2016, bands under his direction have been consistent UIL Sweepstakes winners.

Brock Alsaffar
HHS Assisant Director of Bands
Brock Alsaffar joined the team in 2021 as Assistant Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. His duties include conducting the Hebron Concert Band, assisting with the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, team teaching the marching band, teaching high brass classes, and assisting with the cluster middle schools.
